To thist to work replace film snob with average Sci FI Fan who is not deep into geek subculture and Trek fandom but is fan of Sci Fi and exited to be first time on Sci Fi convention (this Trek con). And insted fun he met mostly fan dumb who don't let him enjoy Trek in his way and hate dumb of other Sci FI who this guy like. At the end this guy tries to make something to have some fun from this experience when resulted in disarter ruining convention. And later it would be reviled that this guy was invited by trekie who organistated convention just to make this convent difrent from rest of convets with all those jerkass fans.
But this propably opposite from your original point.

They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.
Spike is always cute. I wish we could see concept art for him.
Wait, wouldn't he look mostly the same genderbent?
I'm afraid to search due to rule 34.
You can't stop what's coming.
Apparently not...
You can't stop what's coming.
Ya but theirs a group humansed GB art that I'm looking for. Spike is adarobull.
Join the Heard...makes me want to make an offensive joke towards deaf people.
You can't stop what's coming.
Oh, boo hoo. It was just a joke.
What if I said 77 boys watched this...? Bronies would be crying about me being meeeeean.
But males seem to think they OWN the whole thing. There is a LOT of misogyny (not in this thread, mercifully). And as a woman, I've heard that I should get a sense of humour a lot. Yeah, nobody should ever think "hey maybe this is offensive". It's NO GET A SENSE OF HUMOUR. The novelty of a bunch of men daring to honour a little girls' show by actually liking it has long worn off.
That doesn't excuse misogyny.
I dislike any comments about dislikes like that. They're almost invariably stupid and unoriginal.
