I went to three different TR Us over the weekend and they all had several Zecoras and Collector's set. I thought about buying them and putting them on Ebay but theres already a ton on there somehow under the price they cost to buy.

Oh well

@Count: We should probably stop talking about this. There are children present.

[up] Important advice for everyone: never read an anatomy textbook and Watchmen close together. Please don't ask why.

Reading Watchmen the first time kinda felt like what I imagine looking at pornography is like.

I only read it when no one else was around and kept it hidden.

Of course, I'm the same way with ponies, in polite company.

I would go looking for ponified Watchmen characters now but I'm mortally afraid I'd find them.

Overthinking things is a sacred custom of my people.

What about holding up lead sheets?

I already posted some ponified Watchmen characters last night.

I am the fanart ninja.

Plus, I read it when I was totally not old enough. Nobody waits that long, anyway.

[up] I had to wait, the graphic novel availability where I live is second to everywhere including remote parts of the Gobi desert.

I'd never even heard of Watchmen until I came here.

That sucks. I got comic shops up the wazoo over here, so I read it when I was like, 13.

Also, I am ashamed to admit that I posted at least 2 independent examples of A Clockwork Pony artwork. They were both of Pinkie Pie for some reason.

It kind of made me wonder why I own a copy of that movie and what it says about my relative levels of serial killer likelihood.

Finally, after 4 months of waiting and searching, I was able to get a doll of Lyra from Kmart! grin I also got Sunny Rays so that I could have a unicorn/pegasus/earth pony trio if I include Cheerilee. And yet again, the Kmart website doesn't even list Lyra or any of the others in that set as being available in stores. I just went thinking that there MIGHT be a very slight chance (since I read that the doll set had a release date of September 1 at some point) and I ended up being lucky.

On a topic that was mentioned several pages earlier, the idea of Rarity hiring an intern or assistant would be interesting. Probably the biggest conflict would be the fact that Rarity is used to having everything be in a certain order and having everything be exactly the way she wants it to be. Her assistant would have to be extremely patient and understanding, or else Rarity might need to learn some more patience too. When I first saw that idea, I thought of Apple Bloom being the intern, since she showed talent at designing/making things and it would be an interesting reversal of Sisterhooves Social. I bet Sweetie Belle would tell her "Now if you're going to work for my sister, do NOT touch ANYTHING in her work area even if it looks like a mess, because for some reason she actually likes that place to be messy. I don't know why, but she really yelled at me when I tried to clean it up, so just DON'T touch anything in there."
