Why do people always depict Luna as being trapped on the moon? It was Nightmare Moon who got banished, not Luna.

People always think Celestia's a jerk because she banished her sister to the moon arbitrarily. While she's a troll now, she was doing the right thing with NM.

I still considered Luna to be at least partially aware of herself while she was Nightmare Moon. I don't consider them two seperate personalities.
Plus, Luna said "I missed you, big sister" she must have at least been aware of how much time was passing during all this. It's not like Luna's consciousness vanished when she became Nightmare Moon, and then came back once he elements were used on her.

I think she was trapped inside her head, and she could see everything she was doing. Maybe she managed to influence NM a bit, which is why her attempts to stop the Mane 6 failed so miserably.

I think she was herself half of the time, but her jealousy, anger, and depression would drastically alter her personality during the other half.
She became a slave to her emotions, basically

So, uh. I've been trying to figure out Rainbow Dash for this game I'm working on.
How does her speed even make sense?
She can't even outrace Applejack on ground even when he does have access to her wings, but she's clearly zigzagging at The Flash speeds when airborne..And then there is that 1 Mach speed you'd normally need for a sonic boom...
Even if I make Dash special, and pegasi special, and pile bonus on bonus, how am I gonna account for these huge differences?
