Animation seems different from seasons one and two, the colors seem slightly off. That's why it feels fake.

I will remain optimistic and hope for the best.

I don't have any reason to believe that it'll be a let down, but I also don't want to have my hopes too high, and be really disappointed.

I guess it isn't a plot tumor, but they had better not spend half of Season Three with completely new places and characters when they could reintroduce Trixie and have Octavia get a speaking role. Maybe see Flim and Flam again.

If the setting switches away from Ponyville, all our ensemble Darkhorses and background ponies will be missing.

@ATC: The common assumption is that it'll probably be a two-parter like the second season premier and finale. I seriously doubt they're going to transplant the entire show to a new setting. And the animation looks pretty much the same to me; if anything they got an Animation Bump.
