@Story: AJ loses it twice over the course of the show. Pinkie usually goes into what I'd consider overkill three or four times that much. I never said that AJ was totally stable, just that she's more stable than most of the cast.

Twilight only really loses it in Lesson Zero and Its About Time.

And Swarm of the Century. And Feeling Pinkie Keen. And A Bird in Hoof...

Really, I think that her becoming rather unhinged is perfectly in character, despite some other people's complaints otherwise.

Yeah, when I say "losing it" I don't mean "Having a psychotic break", I just mean any time that they let their quirks get the better of them. Like Pinkie's randomness and difficulty in taking things seriously causes trouble on a more regular basis than AJ's desire to be helpful.

And yeah, I can totally understand Twilight getting unhinged. She puts a lot of pressure on herself, and that much stress can easily mess you up.

Those were only minor things though. By that Standard, Rarity would count dozens of times.

Nobody said we were just counting major things. That's the whole point.

Accidentally destroying your town and aggressively stalking your friend are minor?

Okay for this show they might be tongue

Past Sins has just updated with a complete revision of the story.

huh, glad I hadn't bothered reading past the prologue yet.

actually, it looks like the biggest change is that the story is now posted on fimfiction

good. Google docs, while useful for many things, does not make for a good fanfiction repository.

I thought Past Sins already was rewritten once. What else has changed?

Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.

Accidentally destroying your town and aggressively stalking your friend are minor?

That was Fluttershy and Pinkie's fault as much as it was Twilight's.

@story

I'd definitely say that this is up there with Lesson Zero and It's About Time in terms of breakdowns:

[up]the difference is in Swarm, Twi is only talking crazy. in lesson zero and about time, Twi is acting crazy.

so I was just thinking, it's customary to use ponynapped instead of kidnapped when writing about ponies. But, if one was writing about a young goat being ponynapped, would it then revert back to being kidnapped?

Foalnapped, maybe? I dunno. The whole ponification of speech gets a bit weird when you overuse it.

Marston: Looks like they were revising it printing.

EDIT: Oh and it sounds like they threw in some season 2 while they were at it.

What was changed in Past Sins?

Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

no, you see, I was just making a humorous observation on the fact that Kid is the technical term for a young goat.

[up][up] It turns out that Ivory Scroll is secretly a werewolf, Twilight gets temporarily banished to Neptune, and Nyx has a flashback sequence featuring the ghosts of Patrick Swayze and Tupac.

Three whole chapters are dedicated to Applejack's romance with Queen Chrysalis.

Also, it turns out Opalescence is actually a robot.
