I dislike Doctor Whooves and Derpy. I do watch Doctor Who so a lack of knowledge isn't why I dislike him.

I find Dinky and most foals just adorable.

As for the Mane Six, Fluttershy had plenty of adorable moments to choose from. The other ones, though, I can't really think of it.

I personally think that Twilight at her cutest was when she displayed her mad dancing skill.

When I don't like fanon I just make up my own and ignore the rest.

Doctor Who is pretty awesome, but I still don't like the common Dr Hooves fanon. Crossovers like that really shouldn't breach serious fanon, IMO, because it's impossible to reconcile it with canon in a clean manner.

When I'm dealing outside of official canon, I don't care about that stuff.

Honestly, I don't like Doctor Whooves either, mainly because A: I've never watched Doctor Who before, and B: People allways feel the need to shoe-horn him in every single fanfic, even when it really doesn't need him in it and was doing fine up untill then. It get's very annoying after a while. And I also don't like his charector design either.

I suppose it doesn't help that I'm not a big fan of the whole Time Travel stuff anyway.

I haven't watched DW but I don't mind him. I haven't really noticed the shoehorning.

You should check out Doctor Who.

I actually really like Derpy, and I like looking for Doctor Whooves.

Guess my opinion is foolish.

There's nothing wrong with liking Derpy.

I have my head canon about Dinky (based on backgroud stuff). She is sister of Sparkler (or whatever her name is), that filly who was with Sparkler in MMDW and that stallion Written Script if I remember correctly that name , he was standing during AJ speech in Last Roundup with Dinky and Carrot Top. And I think Written Sript and pair or at least close friends so Dinky can hang out with her (and even go to travel with her), and if Dinky and Derpy meet it's because of Carrot.

Not sure what we're discussing, but I like Doctor Hooves. It'd be interesting to see him as his own separate character instead of "Dr. Who as a pony" though.

I dunno what fics you've been reading. The only fics I've seen with the doctor playing a large role are Dr. Whoove fics.

well Ok, I think one non dr. whoove fic had the doctor and derpy as a part of a Funny Background Event, but that hardly counts.

Every single fanfic? From all fics I read (Fallout Equestria, Past Sins and Dangerous Bissness) only FOE had him mentioned as one joke.

And Doctor Whoof was one of reason why I started to be intrested in MLPFIM so I want him to be pony Doctor and nothing else.

Dr Whoof also comes out in CEQ and Progress, but he's just a funny background event in the later IIRC.

@Sky: That's my issue with him. The main reason I don't like him much is because like 80% of the fanon about him is based on Doctor Who references (and I don't watch it, so it doesn't do much for me), and the other 20% isn't interesting enough for me to really care all that much. That's why I like Derpy and Lyra a lot more; they have more defined personalities. I also like the fact that even though they're goofy, they still fit into the show fairly well; I could totally imagine the writers coming up with similar characters (although not quite as exaggerated) all on their own.

You can make up any personality for DW you want.

You know, I actually would like a spin off animation series based on the other mane six.

I'm talking in terms of fanon. I like looking up fanart and comics and whatnot for Derpy and Lyra because I like the personalities the fandom developed for them. With DW it seems like most art and comics are Doctor Who references; he doesn't have enough of a set personality for me to bother looking stuff up.

I think human studies 101 with Lyra is now up there on my list of favorite mlp memes.

People make him a DW reference because they like DW and people who don't like it don't bother drawing him at all.

I like Sitting Lyra being photoshopped into random pictures myself.

Which is exactly why I don't find him interesting. Sure, I could come up with my own take on his personality, but since I'm the only person who would ever use it, I don't think it's worth the trouble.

@Story You're confusing fanon and headcanon. Fanon is the prevailing popular belief(s). Headcanon is your own personal version.
