But the first time I tried to watch it, I accidently watched a G3 cartoon instead.

If you don't wanna watch it until you learn the spoiler, that means it's All There Is to Know About The Crying Game.

Except I didn't know all there was to know about that movie before I watched it.

I was... surprised.

I keep my mind open to everything. I never would have gotten into MLP otherwise.

I also went in based purely on seeing it everywhere on the internet, so I figured it must be worth a watch.

I could tell right away that it was objectively awesome, at least compared to most kid/little girls shows. But I still wasn't convinced it was for me.

it wasn't until Bridle Gossip that it really hooked me.

The worst part is that I initially didn't even notice the difference in art styles once I started watching the real MLP. I kept excepting Pinkie's Party Party to come up.

And now that I think about it, I like "Dottie" or "Connie" a lot better than "Condo."

Never seen any previous gens, tho.

Anyway, the jokes in the first half of Over A Barrel were enough to hook me.

This is pretty much what I thought. I was like "well it's a really good kids show... but it still seems like a little kids show." I don't think I was legitimately hooked until Winter Wrap Up.

I love how this whole phenomenon has encouraged so many people to keep their minds open and not be judgmental, even if they don't like the show.

My mom still thinks you're all freaks and pervs, though. I'm working on it.

I went in with the knowledge that it was awesome according to my friends. I figured, since I occasionally played wih my sister's G3 ponies, why not see how the new show is?

I just like to watch cartoons. I decided to check out MLP and I fell in love.

Winter Wrap Up was the first full episode I saw (during a Hub "Mare-athon.") My first thought was, "That was actually pretty good." My second thought was, "How do I get this damn song out of my head?" [lol]

I still think Gypsy Magic is much Ear Worm -ier than any canon song.

I've probably said this a zillion times by now, but the Flutterguy song in Bridle Gossip is basically the point where I flipped from merely enjoying the show to being a legit fan.

This is still one of the funniest things that ever happened on the show, IMO.

Yeah, that was a big part of it too, for me. That whole episode seemed suddenly better than all the ones before. But I figured it might be a fluke. When the next episode kept the quality going, then I decided to stick with it.

Yeah, as a whole, that episode probably did more to sell me on the show than any other ones up to that point. I mean, in retrospect I like "Look Before You Sleep" and "Applebuck Season" just as much, but they didn't make as much of an impression on first viewing.

I decided to watch because of a Fan Dumb encounter. I was a hater then, because I kept seeing ponies everywhere.

Oh come on, I know it's not one of the most highly regarded episodes, but it's not that bad. I like the fact that manages to go entirely off of character interaction rather than needing some sort of outside event to drive the plot. Then again, I'm a sucker for Slice of Life stuff.

Oh come on, Look Before You Sleep is hugely underrated! And it's one of the very few AJ episodes we have so far {The writers really need to focus on her more often instead of treating her like a side charector compared to the rest of the mane 6}, along with being a funny episode in general.

You guys are entitled to your opinions, and I'm glad you enjoy the episode. But in my opinion, it is the absolute nadir of the entire show.
