Yeah Im not sure how "Lemony Gem" got picked as a fan favorite over ones like Lyra and Bon Bon and stuff. I would love for them to make a Bon Bon even if they gave her a different name (Plus my Lyra is kinda lonely without her). She has a great color scheme!
Not that Lemony Gem doesnt have a neat color scheme... you just would think they'd have picked one of other ponies that fans have somewhat rabidly latched on to. Like... a Time Turner brushable! They have a male pony mold now!
I wonder what FANS they polled to put together that set?

I have like.. 3 Trixies now... so almost there. I have Two regular trixie brushables (I bought a spare so I could barter with it) and I have the sparkly-butt one that came in the Fan Favorites box set.

If Bon Bon ever got a toy, the fallout from her inevitable name change would be immense. I already headcanon that Bon Bon is just nickname and/or pet name just in case.

Im guessing they could concievably call her Bon Bon and get away with it, like Applejack, its a common term for a food item (its a beverage in AJ's case). Not sure how the law stands on that though.

@Turtle: The issue isn't "getting away with it"; there was a pony named Bon Bon in a previous gen; that's where the name came from. I'm guessing the other reason they aren't using the name for her is because they lost the trademark/copyright for it or something.
