Im catching up on FIMF story updates.
I start up classes again next Monday, so Im scrambling to get things finished
I want to go to a Con, I think Bro NY con is the closest to me. There is a MLP con in Baltimore every year but it is for all generations and not just the current one, not sure if it'd be as fun as a regular Brony convention.

I know not everyone is into the toys like I am...
But I washed Cadance's hair before work and put it in curlers (you can make pony sized curlers with a straw and a bobby pin!). Im going to take them out when I get home... the toy's hair is terrible looking and Im hoping this helps.
Her hair was actually GREASY when I took her out of the packaging... bleh!

I've seen some pretty impressive things done with those tiny pony curlers. I'm actually planning on trying something like that with my Trixie. Hope yours turns out good.

@Crowfall - I hope so to. The Cadance figure actually has LESS hair than the smaller brushable figures, Im hoping the curls give it some volume or something. Im almost tempted to rehair her and make some additional rows so she has a fuller mane.
And her tail is terrible. Its only one color (yellow) instead of the tricolor like her mane. I could probably fix that too but Im thinking that she's not a hollow bodied figure like the others.

I'm going to attempt to style my Twilight this September when I have the house to myself. The last thing I need to go is give my mom another excuse to poke fun at my pony habit by leaving Twilight around the house with curlers on.

I love it that my boyfriend completely supports my Pony habit, to the point of driving me around to several different TRU/Walmart/Target stores to search.
I managed to get a Trixie and a Lyra on Saturday along with a Sunny Rays. Congratulations on getting your fic some notice on EQD, Pannic. Regarding the MLP figures, I haven't got any, but modifying models and figures is something that i've always found kind of interesting.

I have the TRU set on order. It supposedly shipped sometime last week. Im not sure if I should open it or not, Ive heard it was a limited run and may be as collectible as the Derpy toy. Im going to wait and see if thats the case or not before I take them out of the box.
But when I do... Nightmare moon shall feel the wrath of my tiny little plastic brushie!!
