I don't have a clue who Harold Hill is, but none of the characters I listed are very hammy. I guess you could make an argument for Gilda and the Dogs (that sounds like a band name) since they're pretty LOUD but LOUDNESS does not equal hamminess. Or maybe I just have high standards for Hams.

I'd rule out the Diamond Dogs and Silver Spoon for hamminess. YMMV greatly for the rest.

I usually take Large Ham to be a character making a spectacle of themselves in their performance. The Flim Flam brothers were definitely doing just that.

well, with the Flim Flam bros, it really depends on how you treat the song. Outside the song, no, they're not really all that hammy, just kinda smug.

But if you're counting the song? yeah, total ham.

Well, Rarity very much is a Large Ham, so that's fine. Everyone else's singing has been much more subdued and less over the top. Even Pinkie Pie's songs are just cheesy and sweet rather than crazy.

The Flim Flam brothers were putting on a show in-universe as part of their sales pitch.

@Dave You can't slot someone into a category because of single, atypical moments.

I saw it as an evolution of her character rather than her acting out of character. I guess we'll have to see if it sticks.

Yeah F&F were Hammy. DT can be a bit of a ham when she wants to.

Diamond Dogs I really wouldn't count as hammy, seam with Gilda, plenty wrong with her, but not really a ham.

I didn't mean she was out of character. I thought she was basically putting on the act because "that's how newspaper chiefs act" and she just wanted to fit the part. And because it was fun.

I think it was more she's a classic Umbridge type and soon as she got a little bit of power it went to her head. Whe's do that no matter what position it was, long as she had power over somepony.
