Whoa.

Oh man, if these are real (and I bet they are, considering that they're from the same person who got their hands on the actual image files for the posters), then Season 3 is looking to be intense.

That Crystal Kingdom overview is pretty cool. I love the castle design. The next three pictures, though, are kinda scary. My money's on either an Imagine Spot or a Bad Future. The last one, though, is the most interesting one of all. Trixie appears to be wearing a crest depicting that mysterious villain from the website files. Is Trixie getting a full upgrade to villain mode by becoming The Dragon? That would be freaking sweet! I wonder if the necklace confers any additional powers to her...

@Lurker: Huh, so surprise post apocalyptic parody episode? Don't know why, but that is were my mind is going with the Sweet Desolate Acres, and vacated Carousel Boutique. Either that or we have more time-travel shenanigans and have ended up in the bad future. Crystal Kingdom looks cool. And so does Trixie's new amulet thingy.

@What So... That means that either the Crystal Empire deal is just for the finale, or that it's going to be a season long arc? I guess it could also be a recurring storyline for the opener and the finale with the episodes in between being more business as usual. Was it ever confirmed that the crystal pony song was from the season opener?

finished before other episodes; does that make it less likely to be part of a two-parter?

Also, as far as I know, we still don't know which episode(s) the two preview songs are from.

@What Huh. It is rather strange, though, that they would give out a preview of a song related to the end of the season rather than the beginning. Nothing has ruled out a season-long story arc yet, so I'm still hopeful. It wouldn't be the end of the world if it wasn't though.

A season long arc would be interesting though I think it would take a lot of convincing before Hasbro allowed something like that, so I'm not sure.

All this Bad Future Equestria stuff reminds me of Ocarina of Time so hard, but that's probably because I'm playing it right now

Also, my theory is that the villain is just generating a fake destroyed Ponyville as either a subverted Lotus Eater Machine, or as a way to scare off the heroes.
