Id' think Sea Ponies would be more like Whales or Dolphins and just have really good lung capacity since they are mammals (most likely)

Yeah I originally saw them as scaly fish creatures, but now, I see them as water mammals like dolphins...or otters!

They need blowholes though.

Mammals have sucky lung capacity. Whales have terrible lung capacity.

If you want good lung capacity, look at a crocodile.

[up]Thats because they have such slow metabolisms I think. They use less oxygen so they can hang out under water for a long time if they want. There are some benefits to being cold blooded tongue

I was actually hoping the crystal empire was overseas so maybe they'd have to take a boat to get there and perhaps run into some seaponies racing the bow of the boat like dolphins sometimes do.

Not cold-blooded. Ectothermic.

Who needs gills when you have snorkels?

I can never get quoteblock to work because something in my browser sofware when using this forum likes to strip off backslashes

Yes, but one of them has the Unfortunate Implications associated with Reptiles Are Abhorrent and the other is a more scientifically valid term.

Yea I tried to spell it out phonetically... but I was too busy futzing with getting the stupid quoteblock to work.[lol]

@ATC No, not really. Cold ≠ evil. Besides, are we really going to argue semantics over two terms with the same definition because one sounds bad?

You just did. Also, try doubling the slashes.

I'm a pedant. Getting all snippity over Semantics is my job. You wouldn't tell a poor pedant to quite her/his job and go homeless, would you? -puppy dog eyes-

I always thought that cold = evil. I always hated being cold.

Yeah thats what I had to do Story... do double slashes to get it to show up finally. I had to edit it several times to get it to show. Its extra annoying when I go in to edit my forum profile. It east a slash off of my signature field every time I hit save [lol]

Living in America's wang for my entire life, I can tell you that being cold is not fun for me.

America's wang

Oddly accurate.

My computer room is usually around 80, which is about 8 degrees higher than the rest of the house. Also, I wear long, thick sweatpants around the house with socks and slippers. Heat is my element.

EDIT: Farenheit, not Celsius. 80 Celsius is lethal.

Well removing slashes each time is also something the forum software does. It's really annoying. Also, darn it, wrong thread again.

Agreed. You can always put on more layers if you're cold, but you can only strip down so far before you start upsetting people.

Uh, something on topic, something on topic... oh, here we go. You guys have probably seen it before, but what the heck.

Oh so its the forum software? I always thought it was the horribly outdated IE I have to use here at work because they wont let me update the browser sofware.
