I actually did watch two episodes about 3 months before Augest 2nd, but I was too distracted with Yu yu hakusho and Cowboy bebop at the time. So it took me awhile due to the distractions.

I started watching in March of 2011 if I remember right. Although I don't think I joined the thread until later.
Oh right, tht ATG thing. Still have to decide if I want to attempt that. My strategy: find a good vector of what I want to draw and try to copy it without looking like garbage. Step one is complete. Step two is pending.

Basically my attempted at sketching this despite having never drawn a pony before. The legs are too big, and her head is a bit small, but at least it's recognizably a pony. I also totally forgot the cutie mark.
