I had a thought about A Canterlot Wedding, Part 2. Why didn't Twilight send Rainbow Dash, with her super speed, ahead to retrieve the Elements of Harmony before the Changelings ever had a chance to break through Shining Armor's protection shield?

Actually, here's another thought: we know SA's bubble prevents the Changelings from flying in, but does it stop them getting in from underground and finding entry points?

In all seriousness, though, she didn't know her enemy's capabilities. Sending someone off alone against an unknown enemy is just asking for trouble.

They might have done an infiltration story, but that would take 3 episodes, not 2.

Maybe they could do a whole infiltration arc over a season. That would be both cool and a cute way to nod to the whole clone pony issue.

There is no clone pony issue.

The ponies have simply mastered the art of the stable time loop.

I just watched Friend in Deed again, and I'd forgotten about that little felt animation bit inside Pinkie's mind. That was awesome.
