The only thing that annoys me about Sweetie Belle so far is that she screams when scared. Perfectly understandable—but it's ANNOYING. If I directed cartoons, scared little girls would shout the way boys do when scared. I had the same objection with The Lion King (or maybe it was the sequel?). It just seems like it can be an acceptable break from reality to have a little girl character shout instead of high-pitched screaming.

Rarity CAN get dirty if she has to, she just really hates it. I found it adorable when she got her pretty self messed up and Applejack tried to make it up with her by putting cucumbers on her eyes.

Pinkie Pie: "Hey, everypony! This is my uncle Al!"

Twilight Sparkle: "'Al'? That's an unusual name."

Pinkie Pie: (sotto voice) "He's a little weird."

If playing rough is the ONLY reason she has for not wanting to do this with Sweetie Belle, then Rarity is gonna look like a BITCH at the start of this episode

Re: the whole NM/Luna thing. Basic theory is that Luna is partially responsible. She's not innocent, but Word Of God states that she was under the influence of something that made her not herself. It doesn't absolve her of everything that happened, but it also means that she can't take all the blame.

Anyway, I'm glad to see we're getting a Sweetie Belle episode. I just hope that it isn't dominated by the CMC's usual shenanigans, although if the description is accurate, it should be okay. I always thought that out of the CMC, SB is the one who needed the most work; Apple Bloom got her own episode, and Scootaloo's personality is so loud that she doesn't need the extra attention. SB always seemed to me like they tossed her in because they needed a third CMC.

@rjung: I had always kind of hoped if Weird Al did make a cameo, they would sort of stealth his name in there - like, call him Strange Ed, or something.

HE COULD BE THE PONY WHO OWNS THE PARTY STORE! The one that Pinkie and Dash got their pranking supplies from? That would be so cool!

Who will poor Scootaloo be with?

I never said I didn't like Luna, I just said wile I take her past into account, it doesn't matter to me. in all the Fan Fics about Luna, she's the only one that still makes a big deal out of it. and she should but it's still just her, everpony else forgives her.

and the supposed episode about Sweetie Belle sounds great because so far, Apple Bloom was the only Crusader who got a fair amount of Character Development. if it's real, we just need an episode about Scootaloo now. and an episode where all three of them get their marks already! I feel for them and want it to happen.

They can always go on a race around the world.

Or maybe it's like Mother's Day, where the celebration is dedicated to one or more particular family members, but everyone can participate. Unless there is a similar thing going on for brothers at the same time as this.

Scootaloo will be in the background chasing Rainbow Dash all episode.
