Yea I dunno how one can willfully use a machine that is so infected as to prevent typing. It may just be that I take for granted that Im savvy enough to have virus and malware/adaware scanners running every day while Im at work (So it doesnt impinge on play time when I get home)

To be fair, malware won't affect the keyboard. His computer is just plain messed up, but it's not the malware that's causing that.

Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

So I found out yesterday (when Crowlover posted a link back to my first post) that I've been in this thread since page 2718. And since we're on page 10402 now, that means I've been here for roughly 80% of this thread's history. This comes as a bit of a shock to me, I still keep thinking of myself as a relative newcomer, to both the thread and the fandom. I guess in a few months it'll actually have been a year...

What have I done with my year?

he's wilfully browsing the web while admitting his rig is heavily infected. That's grounds for banhammering on account of infection vector quarantine.

Browsing the web while infected isn't dangerous at all. For one thing, anyone who wanted to hack TV Tropes could do it from anwhere on the internet. They don't need to do it through a zombie. Also, , viruses can spread perfectly well with no user intervention. The only one ATC is endangering is himself.

@Crowlover: That was certainly part of it. Oh yeah, I also wrote 23 chapters of a web novel and played like 350 hours of Dark Souls. And read everything by Jim Butcher.

BTW I can't complain about current shows, because there are many good cartoons today.
