What's your favourite pony? Applejack.
Favourite Episode? Hm, tricky. Perhaps "The Best Night Ever". But "Lesson Zero" is a close second.
What do you think of Pinkie Pie? She's entertaining. If I knew her in Real Life, I'd probably go mad very quickly; but as a character, I like her.
Favorite Background Pony? Carrot Top, for some reason. No idea why.
Would you hug the Great And Powerful Trixie? No. She does not seem a very huggy person, and hugging random strangers seems impolite. I'd fanboy about the technical aspects of her magic, though.
Favorite type of wood? Walnut wood.

Walnut wood isn't common in Singapore, mostly it's Teak wood and rosewood.

It isn't hugely common here either, but I like its texture. Oak is also good, though.

It used to be that whenever you typed in 'My Little pony' in the Tvtropes search bar, the page for the main franchise appeared before the G4 version. Now, the G4 show's page appears before that!

Favorite pony: Twilight Sparkle
Favorite episode: Probably Baby Cakes, it's adorable without being nauseating.
What I think of Pinkie Pie: Hilarious, though I could see her getting on my nerves if she were around me constantly.
Favorite background pony: Derpy, duh.
Would I hug The Great and Powerful Trixie: Probably not, though I don't hate her.
Favorite type of wood: Morning. In all seriousness though, probably mahogany.

Positive, I'd say. I have heard complaints, of course, but it seems to me that Equestria Daily is definitely one the focal centers of the MLP fandom.

@Gex He's just a guy with a very popular blog. Some people may be bitter for one reason or another, but I don't think that many people actually have a problem with him.
