I am a terrible artist. It's due to a combination of lack of training and poor fine motor skills. The latter has been partially offset by physical therapy I had years ago, but I still have little actual ability.

@Broccoli: I'm pretty sure I could learn to draw if I put the time in, thing is that 1. I don't really have a whole lot of time to put into learning to draw and 2. I have more of an affinity for both writing and music, and I'd rather play to my strengths and dedicate my time to polishing up those skills rather than trying to learn something totally new.

@Applelight: Man, that sucks. Hopefully you'll be able to move out of there relatively soon.
