^^They have theatre, if not movies. It'd be interesting to see if they had animation, though; it'd be a nice reference to the classic... whatever-it-is, spinny-animaty-thing, that makes it look like a horse is running.

I'd love to see a cheesy theater production in one of these episodes

Like a narmy retelling of the Nightmare Moon story, with Princess Luna almost getting out of her seat to kick somepony's ass at certain points, due to the way she's being portrayed.

I could imagine them horribly miscasting the actors too. Like expecting Fluttershy to play an evil stepmother or something

I was thinking more along the lines of the play within a play in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Like Twilight pics out a ridiculously melodramatic and difficult story, Rarity makes the costumes fabulous, Applejack can't remember her lines, Pinkie Pie just improves everything, Rainbow Dash only cares about the fight scenes, and so on. It would be amazing.

And naturally, the set ends up being destroyed in the process.
