Honestly after that I look back at Lord of the Rings and I find the setting incredibly lacking when it comes to government systems and politics and freedoms and stuff. It's basically just one big "song"/Heroic-Cycle... in prose. It's more interested in plants and ancient artifacts than in the way people live.

Oh, that sucks. I was never much of an Apple guy, but he did some really amazing things and basically revolutionized a lot of technologies.

On another note (I really hope this doesn't make me sound like a colossal jerk), I'm kinda curious about how long it'll take someone to draw Applejack mourning his death. I actually find the idea kind of sweet. (It's probably out there already, but I haven't seen it yet.)

I was sincere. It's not that LOTR is bad, it's just... extremely geeky? It has a very narrow focus, is all I'm saying. Lots of ancient ruins and backstory and battles, but not very lived-in, compared to, say, A Song of Ice and Fire, which is very sociologically conscious.

Saw that a few hours ago, yeah. Steve definitely was a visionary. He will be mourned by many.

On another note, I finally got to seeing Sonic Rainboom for the first time on Treehouse TV. I can see why this can be considered the signature episode of the show, because it definitely displays total awesomeness. And here's the best part: There's a part where after Hoops calls RD "Rainbow Crash, she quickly says something like "They'll never let a loser like me join!" And guess what? They actually DIDN'T censor "loser" this time! Hallelujah. And they've also added a 4PM Sunday slot for the show to their lineup.

Sorry, mixed up Wonderbolts with Hoops for some reason. I guess I don't know the show that well. Can't believe I made an error as stupid as that. *Facepalms self*

iTunes is also currently the only legal way to get the entirety of Season 1 (plus Season 2 episodes) if I'm not mistaken.

Speaking of, why don't we have DVD's yet? Has there been any word on when we might be getting some?

I wonder if they'll try to fix any of the animation errors for the DVD release.

Last I heard they confirmed that a season 1 DVD was on its way, but we don't know anything else about it. If it does come out, I'm buying it.
