Ok so a pic came across my dash on tumblr with RD, Twi, and Apple. RD and Apple were white, while Twi was a Po C (person of color). On of the peopled I follow rebloged it going off on a dude drop saying "why is Twi a -slur for a black person-. I was a little shocked that what she said had to be said.

@Moe You're thinking of Planescape: Torment.

@Van Mousa knows all about that. He goes for racial diversity when he draws human versions of the cast, and has gotten some nasty comments before.

Yeah, there are always those few people who are idiots about stuff like that. I mean, I admit that I'm not a huge fan of stuff like Black Twilight (mainly because all the voices actresses sound Caucasian, so I have a hard time imagining the ponies as anything else), but I've got no gripes with people who interpret the characters that way.

Most of the racist comments are likely trolls. After all, most of the early fandom was on 4chan.

Myself, I don't care about the ethnicities of humanizations. Doesn't matter. Whatever the hell you like.

I don't usually have a problem with someone portraying one of the mane 6 with a diffrent skin color, it's just that half the actual artwork I've seen that does this is either Meh or pretty bad, to me at least. Not all of it though, just alot of it.

@edv: yep, the person who post that rant also is a big korra fan and ranted about whitewashing of Po C characters like in the Assassin's Creed games and korra.

@JT: Actually twi sounds like one of friends from St Louis before puberty (she was Po C) I guess that's why I see her Po C.
