@Mio - That is the last one, as far as I know.
Sounds like a Windows compatibility issue. If you've already tried compatibility mode, I would suggest experimenting with virtualizers... they're kind of like emulators, except they pretend to be an older type of computer (that you can install O Ses on and everything), and its pretty much the most reliable way to get around Windows compatibility issues.
Lots of articles on the subject here

I've done it... I'VE DONE IT!
Tumblr, Deviantart, Derpibooru, whichever floats your computer the easiest but I have completed it and it only took the better part of the day, Chasing Amy, and half of a classic Doctor Who serial, The Aztecs is a pretty cool story by the way, I recommend it, especially for those not familiar with classic Who.
