Looks like I'm not the only one who named their protagonist after a pony.

Also in regards to foreign dubs, I don't know about the translations but French Rainbow Dash and Norwegian Fluttershy are adorable. You can't beat the original language though, as is the case with any foreign dub.

Yeah, the main thing there is that the posts are ganked totally out of context; pretty much all of them were either joke posts, or "Lol look at how stupid this idea is". They just plucked them out of the surrounding remarks to make it sound like we were being serious.

has one of the simplest and most accessible control schemes known to man.

It took me ages to figure out that all the buttons have different effects dependings on which direction you're moving, how fast you're going, and whether youre in the air or not. It's not very intuitive.

Not pony related, but I just had to share this gem from cracked.com.

You know old people have sex, right? Not just the spritely cute ones in the Viagra commercials, either. The ones with dementia have sex, too. The ones who don't recognize their own children, but made a connection with the lady in the room next door. And this is scary stuff, because these are people who aren't great about taking precautions, which explains why STD rates among the elderly is off the charts. No one wants Gram Gram to get syphilis. @Story: I found it far more intuitive than the majority of fighting game moves, where it's "hit random button sequence to combo". At least in smash, it's "forward and A to hit forward, up and A to hit upward, etc." rather than "left, right, up, B" or something.

@Story How is "direction + attack = attack in that direction" unintuitive? Not to mention the tutorial video that spells it all out quite clearly.

I'm not arguing, because you hit the nail on the head. But, it's rare for fighting games to have command inputs like this. Most inputs are actually smooth so that you can put them in quickly and are usually things like a quarter circle * half circle* or a "Z"*
