A fanfic idea I had that I feel is worth sharing:
Due to a freak weather accident, Rainbow Dash falls from the sky, and Fluttershy is the only one who can save her. In her desperation, Fluttershy becomes the second pegasus to perform a sonic rainboom.
Despite her immense gratitude, Dash can't prevent the act from hurting her pride, and has to deal with a growing sense of jealousy that strongly conflicts with her close friendship.
As for the title, I'd imagine it'd be something like "Rainbow of Green."
... Now I just wish I had some kind of talent or skill for writing to do this idea justice.
Can you cool it with the Karn puns, Zennistrad?
No problem. They were kinda Karny anyway.

Have you
seen what Fluttershy is capable of when those she cares about are in danger?

You sort of get used to the quadrants after a while. The only one that's particularly confusing is auspisticism.
I forget, in Hurricane Fluttershy, how fast did Fluttershy fly at the end? Because she was really pushing herself then.
Plush
At the end they were just measuring the group's speed, not individuals, so we don't know. Fast enough to make it work.
Me too, but that wasn't the only thing.
Same here. Technically my first exposure to MLP:
Fi M was a blog post analyzing the society and economics of Equestria and coming to the conclusion that Earth ponys are useless peasants. That was probably all the way back in Febuary 2011, but at the time I didn't think much of it.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
Why is there no Derpy version of this?

Excuse me?
TV's
Adam West is best Batman.
Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take the sky from me.
Nolan's are actually the only Batman movies I've seen all the way through.
