Oh, I saw Source Code, too. Yeah, it's fucked up, and you know it's fucked up, but it's less fucked up than what would have happened otherwise.

You know, that was filmed on the Metra here in Chicago, and I tell you what, the inside of those trains do not look nearly as nice as they do in that movie.

Where do you live? Is it somewhere they hardly ever make movies?

Cause yeah, lots of movies are filmed in Chicago, but New York and LA get more attention than they deserve.

Love that movie. I got the 4 disc special edition.

I got through the Tutorial area and Im in the city type area. I think my problem is that I cant pull off the attacks that certain things are weak against. Theres this big guy thats supposedly weak to jump attacks but I suck at button combos.

There aren't really any combos in the game. It's really, really simple. Simple isn't the same as easy, of course. Dark Souls is anything but easy. But all you really got to do is keep your defenses up, watch for an opening, and properly time your strikes. You don't need to do anything fancy and you don't need any specific weaknesses for any enemy, you can win with anything. It just takes practice. Was it the boss killing you or the Black Knight? If it's the latter you don't need to (and probably shouldn't) be fighting him yet.

I have no idea what it is. There are two paths I can take.. up into a tower with a big minotaur thing or down into an alleyway where theres a big guy. Ive probably just gone the wrong way because I have no idea what Im doing.

And there are sort of combos.. the backstab, the kick, the jump attack. You have to hit the buttons at the right time to perform them. From what I gather certain enemies are weak to certain types of attacks.

You gotta kill the minotaur. It's the game's first real boss. If you climb the tower first and kill the two archers before the battle they won't be shooting at you during it. And then you can jump off the tower and do lots of damage to it. Or if you have the 5 black firebombs you picked up earlier in the level, you can just use those on him. Like 4 of them will kill him, you don't even have to get close.

Back stab you just press attack when you're behind them. Kick is just forward+attack. Jump attack just walk off a cliff and press attack. All require just one button press. And no, enemies aren't weak to specific attacks of that sort. Back stab just does a ton of damage to everything and so does the jumping attack. Kicking just staggers the enemy so you can get easy hits off on them.

I've actually heard it before I knew exactly what it was in the Pony Thread.

I can somewhat see it, but it seems more like Dash encourages Fluttershy than Fluttershy holds Dash back, so I'm not sure.

That raid scared the hell out of me, but at least it's over...for now. Plus, I used the results of my investigation of the raid for a presentation in Forensic Science Class. For once, goofing off helped me in school!

Anyway, back to business as usual.

The OP on the Pony Island Thread allowed us to trade the ponies we won in the raffle. I'm trying to trade Cadence for Shining Armor, mostly because I really can't see myself and Cadence stuck on an island for two weeks.

I determined that the DDoS Attacks last week and the incident yesterday were part of a raid against the Ponychan, presumably by a troll from 4Chan.

Though this is mostly speculation on my part, the evidence is rather convincing.
