I'm onto Season 1, episode 6 now.

I don't get much time on the internet, so I'm quite slow on watching them.

Have you check out My Little Pony: The Mentally Advanced Series yet? Cause the parody of the Trixie episode is one of the best.

And Trixie just ran the hell away from the bear that's bigger than a fucking town. Seriously, if that's the type of threat a town potentially faces, then again, I stress, why is there no police or army around? And why is that my biggest problem with the series so far?

My brother prefers Friendship is Witchcraft, but I like Mentally Abridged better. I recommend both, though. They are very funny.

It's implied that the Wonderbolts are actually part of the Equestrian Air Force, and in a season 2 episode, they show up help deal with another kaiju threatening Ponyville.

Okay, the only way I can really justify the police thing is that some of the main six are some kind of police themselves. I'm guessing that Rainbow Dash is air force, Applejack is Animal Control and Spike is the Early Warning System.

Still nothing to deal with ponies, but it's a start.

The mane 6 are the guardians of the Eo H, so they're the protecters of the world and stuff.

Plus, the Royal Guard in Canterlot may or may not be worth a damn.

Applejack as animal control? That's more Fluttershy's area of expertise.

If anything, Applejack's cowherding is more akin to crowd control, since the cows are sapient and capable of speech.

Well, a lot of it is pretty Badass, including Judges. It's like, the judges are military leaders that protect people and kind of rule them and their official position or right to rule is kind of iffy, but that doesn't matter.

I'm not really comparing them to the Judges per se, but I'm comparing the situational authority that people kinda just go along with cause there isn't really a better option.

In a shocking development, it has been learned through unreliable sources that Rainbow Dash, does, in fact, seem to have a coltfriend. This has come as a surprise to all as it was a widely held belief that the blue, multicolor-maned stuntpony who harbored illusions that she'd some day be allowed to join her heroes, the Equestria-famous Wonderbolts, was seriously into fillies.

"Well, that certainly caught me by surprise, " quoted an orange filly with a blonde mane, wearing a cowboy hat. "Ah always figgered she was on the other side'a the fence when it came to that sorta thing. Not that there's anything wrong with that 'course. Ah mean, I got some stories ‘bout my cousin... *COUGH* Anyway, Ah honestly figgered I knew what the deal was. Ah mean, she spends a lot of time 'round Fluttershy and they're really close friends, if y'know what I mean... Um...yer not gonna go printin' my name or nothin' are ya?”

Her closest friends: Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Twilight Sparkle Fluttershy, but totally not Applejack – she was out of town at the time, cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye - were approached for further comment.

The aforementioned Fluttershy’s response was “Well, that’s wonderful. I’m very happy that she has found her own special someopony, of course. But I was kind of hoping that maybe, just maybe someday that special somepony might have been m…” She then broke off, and her face went bright pink. She let out a quiet ‘Yeep, ’ followed by a rush into her cottage and the sound of a door being bolted shut.

Resident jokester and part-time psychotic Pinkie Pie was asked for her opinion, but unfortunately was unable to give a coherent quote concerning the situation as her response was distracted by – in order - two colts playing ball, her thoughts on fudge, a bumblebee and finally ‘a neat looking cloud.’

Local librarian Twilight Sparkle was also unable to comment on the matter. When asked about her thoughts on Dash’s apparent coltfriend, Miss Sparkle’s response was “Wait...Dash was dating?” Her assistant, the dragon Spike apologized for her confusion. “She doesn’t get out much.” was his explanation.

Finally, Rarity, owner and operator of the Carousel Boutique, only responded with a cryptic smile.

Miss Dash has been constantly seen in the company of a dark grey, red-maned pegasus going by the name ‘Rocket’ and it appears as though their relationship is somewhat intimate – they have been seen in each others’ company more then once, often being in the same building or within several blocks of one another. It has been assumed by others in the pegasus community that the two are ‘an item.’ Barring any proof to the contrary, we are – naturally - going to assume this as well.

I don't like how a lotta people assume she must be a lesbian just because she's tough. There's no real indication of her sexuality either way present in canon.

But anyway, that is pretty funny.

I read it before watching the show.

It has permanently made me see Pinkie as psychotic, and she just keeps everyone alive because they're nice to her sometimes.
