Visionary just finished the last few days. It was...interesting. A considerably more fun read on account of good writing than the premise should have made it (canon ruler booted out for an uncannily well-liked protagonist who gets stupidly powerful and winds up with a Mane, but then it's like the story just forgot using that many cliches is supposed to suck

), and a pretty epic climax.

Edit: It's a little weird to look back at 80's stuff and realize just how disturbing it was. Case in point, Applejack stumbles on a slave operation that's been going on long enough for optical degeneration to set in, and bucks a dude into hell.

I was on IMDB on the Spongebob boards because I heard the voice actor for Mermaid Man died. I saw a thread called Squidwards Suicide and then read the story on Creepypasta. On related, there was Cupcakes, which I've read about on here before. I guess it was fate to read this fucked up fanfic.

At least do yourself a favor and read an MST'ed version of it. It's not really decently scary so much as a bland Mortal Kombat: the Ponyfic.

Still one of the more bearable ones, by sheer virtue of being short. Some of the banal gluefics just keep going on and on, like if someone crossed Postal with Tolstoy.
