I thought that as well not so long ago. However, I then remembered that everypony is not American, and consequently had never heard of that song.

I am now slow-roasting myself in an incinerator for that failure.

@Sig: My vote for best pony may be for Rainbow Dash, but really, I love all of the Mane Six for various reasons.

Saw the clip.

While I am anxious for the first Floottershy episode this season, I'm a bit ambivalent about the new character Iron Will. I notice that the more complex characters who debuted this season have noticably weaker animation due to them only appearing in one episode so the animators don't invest as much effort into them as they do for the ponies.

Plus, he and the goat both wear electric (digital?) wireless mics, which again makes me question why Faust said they would "avoid electricity as much as possible". By this point, I just give up trying to make sense of it and assume this is a fantasy world taking place in the present day.

I really don't mind the apparent contradictions regarding the electronics issue. It doesn't seem to be a big deal to me.

So, how do you like "Ukko Nooa"? I remember when my class learned how to play that on the flute back in elementary school.

Ugh, I hated flute (recorder) in school. Hated it. I could never do the deep notes right...

I was always pretty good with wind instruments where you had to blow. A talent that would come in handy later in life! Badump!

I couldn't play an instrument to save my life.

I played the recorder once in an elementary music class. It was difficult, but a lot of fun. I still have one lying around somewhere, but I don't play it much anymore.

I really wish I had a music composing program. I really want to do a "Final Boss Remix" of Eurobeat's "Discord", in the style of Final Fantasy final boss themes. I've been trying to imagine how it would sound like in my head, and so far it sounds pretty good.

But I have no way of making it.

I love the Pony Thread Simulators, mostly because the text to speech is so funny. I always seem to crack up at the lines spoken by the voice with a British accent.

The videos themselves are made up of funny snippets taken from pony threads on image boards (I don't know if they're from 4chan or Ponychan or somewhere else), which are narrated by text to speech programs of various voices for comedic effect.

It's basically like those Moonbase Alpha text-to-speech abuse videos. Most of them also use the Super Mario Bros. 2 overworld theme as background music, which was used in Motdef's hit video "Moonbase Alpha Provides A Realistic Simulation Of Life On A Natural Satellite".
