Question for all you fans in here. After much pushing from (far too many of) my (male) friends, I watched the first episode and found it rather... painful. And they kept urging me to keep watching, so...
Is there a particular point in the series where it decides to
Grow The Beard? Because the entire first episode seemed like a generic "meet all of the cast and abruptly start the plot" sort of deal that was predictable. There's too many fans of this for my friends to be trolling me but I can't even see why anyone outside of target audience of young girls would enjoy this.
Please enlighten me or at least give an episode to reach before giving up.
The thing about making witty signature lines is that it first needs to actually be witty.
