Is there anything the writers could conceivably do to make the show even more positive that would also make it better?

I had a .. um .. spirited discussion tonight with a fellow who is a fan of the show but complained that it was indoctrinating children. When I challenged him, his description of "indoctrination" was consistently muddled. It seemed to be loosely based on a dislike of a show that sells toys.

Seems to me to be a case of Complaining About Toys You Dont Play With

Some people jus dislike the fact it's Merchandise-Driven, even if theres little to no Product Placement.

Though I might be thinking that since I don't pay any attention to the toyline.

I wonder if they'll ever do an episode with a Downer Ending, or a real Jurassic Bark-esque Tear Jerker. Like not something that some people consider a Tear Jerker (so far I haven't noticed any at all), but a real "If you don't cry you have no soul" kinda thing.

I'd always seen the two of them as being just roommates more than anything else. Though there's certainly no one saying that she and Pierce didn't simply try something new and Dinky was a bit of a surprise out of the whole ordeal.

Three's Company type scenario? actually that would be pretty cool. Ms. carrot top would be Janet Dizty would be Chrissy and Perice would be jack. We could make it just like that show. Only they're all ponies and as a kid involved and Jack is oblivious to the fact he sharing the apartment with lesbians.
