Yeah, that animation is really good. Not quite show quality, but still extremely impressive. Can't quite put my finger on what's off though. I think it's that they're making Twilight fidget a bit too much, but I'm not sure.

The character animations are spot-on. It's a little lacking in the animation of the levitating objects, but still really good.

I just saw the intro to Double Rainboom. The animation is nice, but I have no idea what the plot is supposed to be about, so I'm really not that interested.

@Scoot: Maybe they look good as outlines, but when they're made to look like you ponies do, you see it as Uncanny Valley? Note that the first to respond to that close-up I posted was Orion, another pony.

@What: Well of course it's uncanny valley. I mean, pegasus legs should bend outward from the body, not inward. It also doesn't help that Scoot's muzzle looks like a beak.

Well, given Fluttershy's use of "nopony gives a flying feather, " it would appear to be the Equestrian (or at least pegasus) equivalent of the Precision F-Strike.

I pointed this out back when I posted my commentary on that episode Oh, and threadhop.
