What is your story about anyway? I know Surprise is in it.

To quote Mcdolan about work tonight:

I'm wondering too.

I didn't cry at this fic. Not one tear. And I feel like a monster for it.

@Bluespade - Basically its like a mini-season in fanfic form, with the difference that Surprise has now come to Ponyville. I was thinking at first it would be episodic stories, but then after awhile there'd be a story arc.

Some aspects of said arc were introduced in Scene 3. To wit: Humans naturally can't do magic, but some humans, witches and warlocks, have found a way: Sacrifice ponies to demons or just eat the ponies. Surprise and Raydence hunt witches (Surprise's nose apparently is sensitive to them) and they've detected the presence of one near Ponyville. Surprise and Fluttershy kill one in Chapter 3, but then Surprise's witch-sniffer picks up another one... who has not shown up yet and will be far, far worse when she does

So right now, I'm wondering if I should just cut to the chase and introduce the second, more dangerous witch or keep with what I'm doing and do one story for each of the mane cast before introducing any arcs. What you think?

Huh. Sounds darker and bloodier than I had expected. Anyway, I'd say play to your strengths. If you're better at writing the slice of life style stuff, do more Mane 6 episodes. If you're better at the other stuff then go with the story arc.

@Moe: I second pretty much everything that Blue said. Focus on whichever aspects you think you can write better.

Yeah, one other person has told me I should just introduce the second witch too.

I kind of had fun with the slice-of-life stuff at first (I like the Diamond Dog story) but yeah, they're running dry now.

Started listening to Lulz' "Dashie". With the kind of mood I'm in, I knew that was a bad idea. Dammit…

Hey being a hero mean you get the great Time Goddess on your side. Unfortunately she has pretty high monetary demands and you have to save the world in 30 seconds.

I still haven't seen Madoka...

But yeah, any time a witch shows up, things get dark. And that's even assuming I never get to use my sequel idea, where Surprise and the Mane 6 go to Dream Valley.

Maybe I should start reading more fanfics, but I have the attention span of a OOH, WHAT'S THAT?

My back log. It would give completionists utter nightmares if they ever saw it in it's entirety.

Dammit, I just *had* to listen to it. Multiple times. And sing along. Why couldn't I just leave it alone? Why do I torture myself so?

That, and I guess I'm just not that interested in fan fiction. Nothing against people who write them, I can just never get around to reading one.
