I didn't mind Over the Barrel, though I admit the pie fight was 'ehhhh'. MMDW might have worked better if they hadn't just skipped the usual formalities of such plots and had others go immediately to Mind Screwing RD. If they added in some token failed attempt to just reason with her it likely would have worked better and given more justification (who knows, maybe this was another thing caused by time constraints).

Family Guy started to go downhill when the Out Of Character humor started to kick in, ie. making character like Lois and Brian act nasty for the sake of the gag. Not long after it just resorted to the entire cast just being nasty 24/7. I think that may play into some fans preference for the earlier seasons, as while random, they have more consistant likeable characters.

I don't think gay Stewie is that bad. I think some more sympathetic traits made him less one note than his villainous persona, but I agree he was Flanderized. I such a case where there are two entirely different characterizations, my usual theory is 'couldn't they be both?'.

@Crow: Well, yeah... I don't know, It's hard for me to consider being something a taste. I wouldn't say I have a taste for being tall, but that may just be me.

@kegi Ah, good, that wasn't a taunt against me.

And I agree in general being something isn't a taste, but if, say, you could choose whether you wanted to be tall or short and decided tall, it would be a taste.

@Mousa: Okay. Warning: The Handle says (and I agree with him) that it's my weakest chapter. I rushed it a bit and there's less connectedness due to the fact that I'm wrapping up plot threads before the climax.

BSO Ding on a temp computer. Transferrance of harddrive was a complete failure so now I am reinstalling windows on said hard drive and hopefully will get the computer up and running. Then I need to update to SP 3 (Gods help me) and pray that I can get a serial port or Wi-Fi running so I can transfer datums.

I had computer troubles last Friday but fortuantely I managed to get everything working again eventually.

Funny that this gets brought up in the pony thread after there's a somewhat-conversation topic IRL about how different we would be if we were born the opposite gender.
