An interesting thought, at least. His fanon name is Harpo Parish Nadermane, though, and I think the musical connotation is more important. Besides, who am I to trifle with a reference to the Marx Brothers?

Still, it's given me lots of interesting ideas. I originally stumbled across the knowledge trying to see if the Lyre or something similar was ever commonly used in Gaelic music(I thought I might have seen one in Brave), while half-forming the idea for a country based on Scotland to add to me TCYB-universe headcanon. A culture made up partly of scotland and partly of israel would be interesting, with a patron god based on David. Though I'd have to do more research into ancient israeli culture to see if they were compatible at all, and I'd still prefer to give precedence to the Scottish aspect.

Scottish because Gaelic is one of the world's most beautiful languages, Scotland has some of the oldest horseriding traditions in the world, and also Scotland is the source of the Highland Pony and the Clydesdale.

What does this even mean?

@Crow: Well, mostly inspired by my watching of Brave, which has Scenery Porn taken so far it's practically scenery sex. But also in large part I've always loved Scotland, being of Scottish descent myself(And leaning HEAVILY towards that side of the family). The land is beautiful, the culture is wonderful and the aesthetics are a sight to behold. Imagine, a country full of big, boisterous ponies, all beards and plaids, with a patron deity of stone.

Scotland has a pretty rich history or art and music underneath it all too, meaning that even those ponies who aren't loud and happy can be beautiful, graceful artists and poets. Scotland is, to my mind, the perfect fantasy culture. I'll admit to romanticizing it a bit, but still.
