Moving out wasn't really an option for me. Ultimately the way I learned to deal with Shawn was keep my head low and deal with him only when strictly necessary. I didn't let him get away with anything, but I didn't push at all either.

But yeah, I get the feeling you guys are pretty spot on. I always got the impression Shawn didn't like me because I refused to cow to him, or to show him the respect he thought he deserved. He liked to throw around 'achievements' like his scouting days, or wave his 'knowledge' wherever he could(Like claiming a show or game got drawing a bow wrong whenever they used something aside from western draw), and he really hated being proved wrong. He was definitely the kind of guy who thought he deserved a lot of respect but didn't respect anyone else, and he took issue with the fact he couldn't get it from me.

I wonder if my brother is doing this to me as revenge in the name of his friend who I don't like.

Remember? He and his GF were incredibly rude and aggressive to me when I was serving them in the shop? And then I told him who I was...and he losened his bowels and run to my brother to bail him out?

I've meet him a few times since then and I've been nothing but blunt and agressive to him...maybe that's why my brother is treating me like something he's just done on the toilet.
