I'm not sure how I feel about all of this. I mean, if we make a forum elsewhere, then what's the point of the thread here? Is a whole forum really necessary just to talk to one poster who got banned for completely legitimate reasons? And if we sever ourselves from this site, then more or less any avenue for new people to join us is shut completely.

Some people cant/wont use skype and we also have the issue of time zones.

I have no intention of leaving this thread but I have often wanted a place that has separate areas for different discussions so that they dont get washed away in the flood of posting.

@Dorku Do any of those forums exist for the exact same purpose, and are populated by the exact same people? Two places for discussion of the exact same thing are redundant, and eventually one of them will fall on the wayside.

I'm not so inclined to make the leap over to the new forum, but if most of us make the transition then I may as well. And hey, this place is mostyl a hangout thread now too, so it's not like we'd have to risk moving off topic.
