@Marston Good man. If I had anything near loyalty I would make that ship my OT 3. However I don't stick to one ship or another. I just go with what looks good and seems the best at the time.

Ugh yeah summer heat is the worst. I want to finish my Surprise fics but I can't because when I'm awake, its hot, but when it finally cools down (at night) then I'm ready for bed. Ugh.

Isn't she still on top of the list for variety on EQD?

Reminds me of the dumbest thing that ever happened during my time at uni.

I had managed to secure lodgings in some recently-built, brightly-coloured buildings known unofficially as "Legoland". (This was by contrast to my lodgings the previous year, which were in a kind of brick shack built by cavemen and Queenslanders.) Now, both the upper and lower floors were outfitted with heavy-duty thermal control stuff, which was remote controlled. Everything worked fine until, during the coldest part of winter, someone mixed up the remotes. Thus, the guy with the top floor remote thought it was a bit warm, turned down the heat, and this made downstairs colder, so they turned up the heat...Net result was that, with frost on the windows, I was sleeping with just a sheet in my summer PJ's, and downstairs you could pour yourself a glass of water, turn your back and it would freeze. Gotta love positive feedback loops.

That has to be the best screwup ever.

I don't think we actually had a point at the end where everyone got together and laughed about it, but it was kind of entertaining. Just not for the guys downstairs.

Part of me wants to go to sleep, part of me wants to write, part of me wishes that Tribes would work on my friggin computer.

Combine them. Go to sleep, dream about Tribes, then write a story about the dream.

I don't dream about Tribes. I had a weird dream about Thief the other night, though...

Man, sometimes, when I have to pee when I'm asleep, that's what my dreams end up being about.

Well not much you can do about the Tribes not working unless you have a paying job and the ability to set aside a few hundred dollars for a halfway decent gaming rig.

Really it seems it's a decision between writing and sleeping.
