@Seraphem: Lu127 is the one who banned him (I think), and she's generally pretty reasonable. It might be worth P Ming her on Ginger's behalf. My only concern is that he does have a history of getting worked up that might work against him. Hopefully it'll turn out okay.

He got banned for drama in the Fallout Equestria thread. We still don't know if it's permanent or not.

Ok, and thanks for hearing us out, we know he's a bit of a pain at times, but he's our pain and we care for him. ginger we're all still here for ya, talk to us if you need to.

The thing is, Ginger was on his last, really-last, final chance after having been banned before and told to reform his behavior or be banned multiple times by many mods. I am personally not inclined to leniency in this case.

Well, crud. Here's hoping that this is just a temporary situation.

...and that hope just dimmed considerably.

Yeah, considering this, I don't know what can be done, really. We (the thread) keep trying to get him to chill, and we're inclined to be lenient and/or forgiving. But if he keeps becoming a mod's problem...

I mean, it's still unfortunate, but it's kind of a logical consequence. The only thing that can really change the game now, at this point, is if Ginger gets his personality/temperament fixed, and that's pretty much all on him.

As far as I know, that would take special code to get done, and I think it's unlikely that such a special effort would be given for just one person.

yeah we admit it's his own fault, but I'm kind of worried about him without us there to help out.

@Kyler: Yeah, that's what I was afraid would happen. We have a tolerance for the drama, but it's unfair to the rest of the forum if they let him back and he ends up causing trouble elsewhere. I do like Fallen's suggestion, but I don't know if the mods would be inclined to due that given that it would be an odd precedent to set.

We're a bunch of random people on the internet, relatively speaking, not trained professionals. There's not much we can do.

Worse comes to worse.. I have a ton of webspace.. If need be I can set up a Forum for everyone to use so Ginger can still chat with us.

If anyone would be interested that is. Its as easy as throwing a forum module onto my current website.

Well I can't say I'm not surprised by Morven's perspective, if I were the mod he'd probably already be gone as much as I don't want him to go.
