Do you think
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic will end at 65 episodes? I hope it doesn't. For starters, the show has done a good job from what I can see. Also, season 1 has 26 episodes and season 2 has 26 episodes, which makes 52 episodes for those who don't do fancy mathematics. It just makes no sense to me if they pull the plug on the show while season 3 has 13 episodes, as a result of a 65-episode limit. Why would a show be limited to the number 65 anyway?
I hope that
MLP:FIM doesn't fall victim to what I would call
The Goliath Chronicles Syndrome. What's that, you might ask? Well, that's when a show gets cancelled at the 65-episode limit, gets picked up by a different network...which then proceeds to alienate the
Periphery Demographic and turn it into something so cartoonishly childish that
nobody can take it seriously. That's what happened to the show
Gargoyles, and the way they put
Character Derailment on that loser John
Jerkass Castaway!
Yeah, I wonder if they'll have Trixie lose to Twilight in a fight, and Trixie runs off, yelling that hammy and
Narmtastic line, "DREAM OF ME, TWILIGHT SPARKLE! DREAM OF MEEEEEEEEE!"
On the plus side, though, a line as Narmy as that would fit Trixie
way better than it ever could on Castaway!
