Another idea for a fanfic: The mane six plays poker
This hand was going pretty well for Twilight sparkle, she could tell that rainbow dash had nothing. Rarity on the other hand seemed a little smug but nothing that could possibly match Twilights current hand. And then Fluttershy raised. In reaction both Rainbow Dash and Applejack immediately fold and even Rarity was beginning to look a little panicky.

Pinkie would, of course, think they were playing Fish. Rainbow Dash could be read like a book, Fluttershy wouldn't play because she'd feel bad for winning, and Appplejack can't count.

Not sure if Fluttershy would be. I guess as long as they didn't bet too much she'd be able to convince herself to play... who knows, maybe she'd let her more agressive side out.

With Pinkie's love of fun and games I can see her either being intimately familiar with poker and completely hustling the rest of the table, or just going for what she considers random card combinations on a whim and inadvertantly winding up with a straight flush or full house.

I am not sure how rarity would do at poker. Her dramatic and greedy side might win over her careful playing skills.
