@Orion: use the four weakest jobs from each crystal. Thief, Geomancer, ???, ???.

if it bleeds and moves, we can eat it.

If it bleeds we can kill it

@Ace: I don't know about Geomancer. Colin's been telling me monk/berserker/beast master/dragoon. However, I also heard theif/?/?/dancer are also pretty limited classes.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

Eh, being a competent villain is too much responsibility for me; I pass my briefly-held title of villain to the poster below: [down]

See my sister's boyfriend caught his first fish yesterday.

And there's something about the site of seeing that catfish bleed to death from that hook in its mouth that feels, kinda good.

@Orion: Monks have lots of health and high strength. Lancers have !Jump. Beast Masters can go all Pokemon and use powerful !Catch attacks from random monsters.

[up][up]Villian? Naaaaah.

Blood Knight? A little. Be surprised how much a loving environment of friends can calm down your urges.

[up]Heart, unswayed. I did enjoy this one though.

Oh, fuck, I lost my liveblog update.

Ah well, I'll just have to do that later. I'll write my own terrible story instead.

... Hey everyone.

Got a massive fucking headache thanks to my Comparative Programming Languages class. Our first assignment has two questions in particular that (1) ask me to write out code that will generate four specific types of errors, which I don't know the slightest flying fuck how to do on purpose, and (2) write out code in a language that I have had absolutely ZERO knowledge of before this class. That's not counting out the unbelievably complicated wording of the other 4 questions that I can't wrap my head around...

I. NEED. FUCKING. ASPIRIN. AND. SLEEP.

[up][up]Word advice from a lazy fool. Take your time when dealing with problematic questions. If you try to force yourself, it'll hurt. And you may develop an aversion towards the work.

[up]Gengar! Use Dream Eater!

[down]And be sure to write down all steps. I hate forgetting a step and coming to the wrong conclusion.

Break the complicated question down into segments and process them bit by bit. Exploit the parallel computing power of your brain.

[up] Yep, never forget to document your working. Human RAM is astonishingly volatile.

Also, try to check your work if you can. And with that I depart.

My advice might SEEM less practical, but it's served me well: Take breaks, as many as you need. Not just stepping away from the computer for a minute, but actually going outside, going for a walk. A while to clear your head can be a great help fro problem-solving, let you come back with a new perspective.

Or if there's no where to walk, you could just surf the internet or hang out here.

Side effects may include the following; Thinking of Ponies, friendship, harmony, understanding, bright colorful colors, and the strangest feeling of going into the young girl section of toy stores.

@Ed: But, but... a trenchcoat is my only winter coat!

Though it has, admittedly, gotten me funny look before.
