I should point out, there are actually two Irelands.

The Republic Of Ireland, which is an independent country, and Northern Ireland, which is a part of Britain, like scotland and Wales.

They are very different places.

I'm a little surprised that the shops don't accept both though. In Vancouver, all the shops accept both dollars and Canadian dollars, presumably due to all the American tourists.

By the sounds of things, he's from the center. People from the north east like me have completely different accents. It's not hard to tell the difference.

Definately the south. If she was from the north, she would have a balaclava, a combat jacket and an AK-47.

I can't notice accents either unless it's something really obvious.

That pony is clearly awesome. Does she have a name yet?

Also, accents are much easier to tell apart when they're similar to your own. I can differentiate between many South African accents, but to outsiders, they probably all sound basically the same.
