@mars I hated FPK for very personal reasons. If people aren't as insane as me then they have no reason to dislike it as much as they do.

I actually rewatched OAB recently for fanfic details on Appleoosa, and I loved it.I had completely forgotten how absolutely great Braeburn was. Why didn't people like it again?

FPK just had the 100% unintentional science vs religion undertones, coming out as anti science, pro-religion. Really i dont think it would get half as much disagreements over it if they had simply NEVER had pinkie use the phrase "You have to take a leap of faith"

People didn't like how it watered down horrific real life events and tacked on a pleasant ending to it.

I didn't like FPK because of You Can't Fight Fate

@Lurker The biggie. Twi was going to accept Pinkie's sense from the second Pinkie started shaking.

Really, if they put in a scene at the end where Twi continued studying Pinkie for the right reasons, or included a line implying that she was going to, then I'd have a LOT fewer prolblems with the ep

Yeah, those two episodes have some of the funniest stuff in the first season, if not the series.

And I do love Braeburn. So much I wrote a fic about him where he comes to Ponyville and turns all the stallions gay.
