Pointed out one too many typos. Oh yeah, and generally acted like a dick.

Honestly, I'm more concerned with the implication that apparently I'm not funny.

Well, when your taking the time to cmplain about typos, it does come off as unnecessarily nitpicky, unless they are so bad or so many they prevent you from knowing what's going on, really no sense trying to hold it up to professional standards.

Oh come oooon, I just got booted out of the Fallout Equestria thread. Show some compassion.
...okay fine.
I haven't read FOE, are the typos really that bad?

Its not that hard to run something through a spellechecker though Seraphem.

Typos dont drive me crazy but I do notice them. They tend to break the flow of reading for me.

They aren't that bad. Pannic was riffing the story constantly and just being annoying.

If they are particularly bad then sure, but otherwise it just comes off as you wanting to find things to complain about, unless it's so bad I can't immerse myself in thew story, I bare;y notice them.

Only time Ive had a pony fic that just completely took me out of the ability to enjoy or even follow the story due to formatting issues was that damn Zalgo text bit in CEQ.

It wasn't that hard to read IMO.

was for me, and even if I cold read it, it took so much effort couldn't get INTO it, just let the story wrap around me and experience it like I normally do. It removed all the feeling, all the, I really don't know how the describe it, but it's like I was just reading a checklist of X did this, then Y did this, not actually experiencing it.

Zalgo text is supposed to be readable? You're kidding, right?
I took a guess and cut a portion out of my heart
He said, "That's nowhere close enough, but it's a damn good start"

Was that the one chapter I skimmed with the "Scream" song that Red Velvet was doing with the distorted text? I dont think I could have read it, it looked neat but I have problems with double vision already due to severe astygmatism so... it wouldnt have been fun for me to read.

So the other day I was making crock-pot chilli. In order to make it stretch farther, I mix my chilli with rice, but unfortunately that dilutes the spicyness and I like my chilli a bit spicy. So my solution is to throw in four habanero peppers while it's cooking.

I cut up four peppers and threw them into the crock-pot, washed my hands, and thought I was done with it. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. It turns out habanero juice is soap resistant. About an hour later I was at the train station and rubbing my eye because I have hay-fever and it was itching. I spent the next fifteen minutes crying for the whole world to see. And I'm not a cute crier. I washed my hands as soon as I got home.

That wasn't the end of my problems though. Later that night, I was in the shower and soaping up when I suddenly felt a strange burning sensation... Down there...

Then you got people like Ginger that it was 100% impossible because he was reading on a B&W E-reder screen and the red on black text was solid grey.

@ Turtle, yeah, still hoping SOMEONE makes a translated copy of it that's readable for everyone.

Can you just Ctrl-a, ctrl-c, and then ctrl-v it into a word document and read from there? or does the Zalgo text transfer?

I don't wish to bring the drama to this thread. Suffice to say that I think the author has a serious problem when it comes to parentheses. I'd be happy to take it to PMs, if anyone cares about my opinions.

I guess I'm just weird. I've never had problems with zalgo text unless it's completely covered and Velvet never says anything that you can't just fill in the blank with if you have trouble. The stuff that ginger had problems with is something entirely different though, I will admit. Reading it outside of google docs does make it slightly easier to read, so there's at least that.

@turtle. I think zalgo text is done with specific characters, so copy pasting would most likely keep it at least a little.

Nope copy and paste doesn't work.

What I should point out is that Prince Blueblood did make a cameo appearance in "Sweet and Elite". He didn't seem unhappy to see Rarity appear once again. Maybe interactions with ponies like her are considered But for Me, It Was Tuesday in his case.

Someponies also pointed out that Rarity was not blameless when it came to Blueblood. She was acting like a Gold Digger and Scarlett O'Hara from Gone with the Wind towards him. He probably acted like a Jerkass to scare her off. It did do her a real heap of good, when you think about it! evil grin
