More on that Pinkie/Rainbow (as a pan) fic idea. Rainbow Dash breaks her wings and then when Twilight tries to fix them with magic she accidently turns Dash into a pan. Pinkie then shows up and steals Rainbow because she wants to make pancakes. After making the best pancakes Pinkie has ever made she learns that the pan is really Rainbow Dash and instead of giving her back to Twilight to be fixed, Pinkie keeps Rainbow and falls in love with the magnificent cooking they can achieve together.

It's the most perfect love story ever told.

I've actually been seeing less Twilight fails a spell fics lately. I think the show has built up enough jumping boards for stories like Discord and changelings that writers aren't falling back on that one as much. Or I'm just not noticing them anymore.
