Which member of the cast is most likely to use hair gel?
Hair gel, yeah, probably RD.

I was going to say Rarity, but she probably uses hair spray.
Can you tell me who you are? Can you tell me where I am?
I've forgotten how to see. I've forgotten if I can.

@Orion I did say mostly.

Could be worse. In Project Horizons, you apparently put your soul in a rock to make yourself unkillable [lol]

I think I'm more used to the film version of the song. Then again, there doesn't seem to be much of an appreciable difference.

I'll tell you one thing about YouTube...the comments are something you should always check out. Some of them are useless and insulting. Others...are real gems.

For example, there's a couple of comments from one of the "Griffon the Brush-Off" clips that touch on something very important:

The element of loyalty kicks her oldest friend out of town. Maybe she was being mean because all she wanted to do was hang out with a friend she hasn't seen in forever.

I think saying, "If you're going to treat my friends this way then you can fuck off" demonstrates way more loyalty than tacitly accepting her old friend treating her new friends like dirt would. Thing is, loyalty is a two-way street, and those who try to abuse Rainbow Dash's loyal disposition should, by rights, become liable to lose that loyalty. There's a BIG difference between fierce loyalty and blithe servility, and that scene neatly demonstrates that.

Those couple of comments hit on something that had been bothering me. In a lot of fictional works, there seems to be a big deal made about loyalty. But 9 times out of 10 (in my estimation) that "loyalty" is actually very one-sided and unhealthy. For example, you have the military soldier who obeys the orders of his superior without questioning them and it never crosses his mind that these orders may be obviously wrong or that his superior doesn't hold the same amount of loyalty to the soldier and would sacrifice him without a qualm. sad

I guess what I'm trying to say is that a lot of fictional works have no concept of what loyalty is. Fortunately, MLP: FIM knows plenty about that concept! evil grin[lol]

Hello, everyone. So this thread is a house now, eh?

On an unrelated note, I saw The Incredible Hulk for the first time the other day. It was......alright.

[up] I'm fairly sure most real life military commanders care about their men.

Yes, that one.

Say, we don't actually know DT's mom, do we? Just her dad, Filthy Rich?

[up][up] A [awesome] for that second commenter. Well said!
