You'd think so, but if you look back at things, they've never actually gone out of their way to get her out of and sort sad place (though she only ever looks sad for a short while before bouncing back, typically). Party Of One doesn't quite count, since they were going to throw her that party anyway, and the fact that she went crazy had nothing to do with it.

Normally, when Pinkie isn't happy, it's because of some problem she's having trouble rationalizing (i.e. Gilda, or Cranky), and they try to reason with her, not cheer her up.

@Applelight: of course, that's the whole point of the fic, after all.

Also, my current plan for getting her down is that she was hired to arrange a party for somepony, but they changed plans at the last minute or something, so her friends drag her out to the show to cheer her up. And it works. Way better than they wanted it to.

(Back a few edits) The short version is that it is A) Riddled with spoilers to the point that tagging it would make it useless as per the Spoiler Policy B) Overly long for a bullet point anyway and B) Not very well written in the first place. This was a portion I think I deleted when I was trying to fix up the character page a while back and the other tropper keeps trying to bring it back.

If an edit war itself hasn't started yet, it'd be better to take it to the discussion page to see what others think. The best option would be to rewrite the entry so it doesn't have the issues you mentioned while still retaining the information.

I suggested that and was told I was being "rude". Right now I've deleted the portion in question and so far the other person hasn't added it back (yet). We've already been back and forth a few times. I've also mentioned it in the Wheel of Time thread.

@Applelight: Plan is for a concert; she wants to meet him after because he's the only pony she's ever seen who parties harder than her. Thing is, there are like a zillion groupies and the security guards, who know of his...tendencies, simply filter them out by weight so he won't get mobbed.
