I wasn't wondering about a Real Life pony RPG; I was wondering about the in-universe game that the mane six would play in the hypthetical episode or fanfic.
Right. I was just thinking it'd be a bit awkward for them to have a game where any mages have to be of one specific race out of how many other races are in the game.
I have a message from another time...
I'm going to be away for a while, so I'll catch you all later.
Tealove is best pony.
Ask The Mane Six
Ah but since it is Roleplaying they don't have to follow the rules of Equestria. There could be allowances in the game for pegasus spellcasters or earth pony clerics.
So Fluttershy's character could be a Druid despite being a pega-
Hang on, she might even be one to decide to make an Earth Pony character.
I have a message from another time...
I like the fanon theory that genetically some ponies are closer to others. For example Fluttershy has strong Earth Pony genes but her Pegasus genes remain the dominent factor. The other theory is that Pinkie Pie has underlying Unicorn genes.
Pony RPG? Well, if there's a Buffy Tabletop then...
The wings do add a lot to Fluttershy's character :3 There're other touches like her wings locking up in fright :3
Pinkie's Sense should work like Human ESP, which is basically a hyperperceptive form of advanced extrapolation. Only her Sense is strengthened by her Earth Pony Magic.
@Steve Do we really know that being good with animals is supposed to be an earth pony thing? I mean, it seems like it should just be a personality feature again, rather than something magical. IMO, if Fluttershy's ability to empathize with animals was magical, it would kinda cheapen it.
I always assumed that Animal affinity was an earth pony thing and Fluttershy just happened to be the exception. Now granted it might be a personality thing.
So I logged into Fimfiction this morning to find that a couple thousand words of my next chapter were missing. My avatar is appropriate to my mood.
Ouch. Might want to get on those Fimfiction guys and see what happened. Did you keep a copy saved?
No, it was my only copy. I'm sending a message asking if they keep backups, but I'm pretty sure this is my fault.
