Squidward: Patrick, just how dumb are you?
Patrick: It varies.
I LMAO of that exchange.
Everything's been done. Everything has a meaning. However your life at best is to serve as a building block for others.
@Enlong: Not starting, stating. As in, setting up stats for antagonist characters and creating appropriate encounters for the party's skill level. She's bad enough with math that unless somebody else made the encounters for her, they wouldn't be balanced. Of course, that's only assuming a stat-heavy system, but if Twilight is the one who starts off...
I think it would be easier to get the plot started, and it would be easier to switch between them and switch genres. Like Rainbow Dash would put the whole thing in space or something.
Pinkie would continue it with three scenes in wildly different genres, none of which respect continuity in the slightest.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
Luna has the right sort of stage presence for a DM, though.
"You findest thyselves at the
GATE OF DESPAIR!... oh no, there go our notes!"
@JT Oh! See, I thought you had typo'd "starting", because when I read "stating", I thought you were using a form of the word "state". I usually say "statting", with two "t"s, so you cans ee where I slipped up.

I have a message from another time...
Now we need to match up the mane 6 to
Darths & Droids characters. I guess Pete is RD.

Well yeah, all DM's have issues. It's just a question of which ones would be most balanced. Celestia and Luna would obviously be awesome because they totally play those games all the time.

There's actually an ongoing comic that's basically
DM of the Rings with Equestria as the setting, rather than Middle Earth.

I haven't been very impressed by
Friendship Is Dragons so far though. Anyway, I brought it up because D&D actually has a very good DM.

I kind of imagine Rarity playing a Swordsage, for some reason.
Can you tell me who you are? Can you tell me where I am?
I've forgotten how to see. I've forgotten if I can.
Okay, I need to get to sleep. Hopefully will be back tomorrow. Goodnight everybody.
Well Pete is also a bit of a jerk, and likes stuff that's cool and awesome. But it's true that the fits aren't exact. Any time you try to match up characters from different works, there is some amount of mismatch in the possible traits. Sally would definitely be Pinkie though.

Oh, were we talking about Tabletop Roleplaying earlier?
Can I be the DM? Huh, can I?
Favorite foods: carrots, oats, sausage and gravy...
Surprise I still haven't heard what bet you made with Rainbow Dash was!
So, in sum, I still like the idea of that kind of episode, but I don't know if it could be done well in the span of one episode.
I have a message from another time...
Oh, my bet with Rainbow Dash? She bet I had a cast-iron stomach and could keep anything down, I said I'd find something I couldn't eat. In the end, I couldn't keep down either of the humans I ate, so I won the bet.
Seriously, you humans taste
disgusting. I'm glad I'm a vegetarian.
And if we're gonna role-play, keep in mind I can only post once every ten minutes.
