@Ginger: Archer is a blue filly in the CMC'S class who is essentially a palette swap of Scootaloo, except that she is an Earth Pony. She would be fairly unremarkable except that she has an archery Cutie Mark, leading to people wondering how the hell an Earth Pony uses a bow and arrow. I've been lately joking about how she is the best pony because I find it incredible that the fandom hasn't come up with a bunch of fanon for her. Come on, she's a filly earth pony archer! She's gotta be awesome.

Personally I don't think she should use the bow with her hooves, it's too easy. She should lie on her back, hold the bow with her back hoofs, and pull back the arrow/string with her teeth. That would look adorable. Adorabloodthirsty, one might say.

If you select 'Not Hispanic or Latino' another one appears with options for white, asian, etc., but still.

THQ: we have PRIORITIES!

Just because the only two options for ethnicicty are hispanic or not. They don't care what race you are, so logn as you're not hispanic. It's weird.

@Kegi That's a standard part of an application for a US employer. Political Correctness Gone Mad and all. It is supposed to prevent discrimination by providing statistics of who does and doesn't get hired.

Edit: Didn't notice the thing with the options. Yeah, that is strange.

@Kegi - I always find it weird that a lot of the online surveys I do (theres a company I do them for, I earn Gamestop giftcard) has the same thing. You get to pick whether you are Hispanic or Not. I havent figured out why, unless they are trying to target their product to hispanics or something...

It looks to be a map of the whole planet. There's locations for a Griffon kingdom, what appears to be a camel country, etc.

@kegisak: Uhh, see the thing with hispanic/latino is their are a lot of racial/ethnic politics surrounding them here in the USA. I would explain further but it's far to complex and probably boring for this thread.

I mean, the question is allegedly US specific - and considering the high spanish-speaking population, one could optimistically say that they're simply trying to be 'equal opportunity'(read: fill a quota) towards hispanic peoples. In practice though it kinda looks like the opposite.

there's also the fact that hispanic is kinda unique among ethnicity designation in that it can mean a lot of different things. a Spaniard, Puerto Rican, and a Mexican are all hispanic, but I can tell ya they don't have much in common.
